Obeya signs collective agreement with Fremia

During the autumn, Obeya signed a collective agreement with the employer organization Fremia, thereby achieving a long-term agency goal.

– Finally, our long-awaited collective agreement is in place, which has been Obeya's goal since we started the agency. Both the management group and other colleagues have expressed a clear desire for a collective agreement - so it is a completely unanimous and joyful decision. Now that we have a larger workforce, the timing was right, says Maria Hazard, CEO of Obeya.

The agreement includes, among other things, revised rules regarding parental benefit supplements and parental pay, while also providing room for future salary increases. During the year, Obeya has recruited five new employees and hired a CFO with HR expertise.

– Our ambition is for Obeya to be the best agency in the industry to work at, and unfortunately, collective agreements are still rare in the PR world. We are also pleased with Fremia as a partner, as they have shown that they truly understand our industry. Now we have a fair and clear framework to work within; everyone knows what applies - and we can concentrate even more on doing a great job together, says Maria Hazard.

Obeya has 14 full-time employees and works with clients such as Visit Finland, Halebop, Brights, GORE-TEX Professional, the Swedish School Sports Federation, MEDS, and Riksteatern.
