We Are Looking for a Senior PR Strategist

This position is a 10-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Malmö/Copenhagen.
About the Role
As a Senior PR Strategist and Consultant, you will act as a strategic advisor, developing various PR and communication strategies. The role also includes operational work, such as media relations and stakeholder engagement, as well as creating deliverables like debate articles, workshops, and press materials. You will primarily work with Obeya’s clients based in the Skåne region.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute strategies and plans related to branding and PR.
Produce various types of content, including op-eds, press releases, and columns.
Collaborate with different client teams at Obeya.
Provide proactive ideas and strategic advice to clients.
Manage and develop client relationships.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Has at least 7 years of experience in PR and communications.
Has agency experience (in-house experience is a plus).
Possesses strategic expertise and has worked with communication strategies.
Understands how PR impacts business goals.
Is confident in an advisory role.
Is a skilled writer, experienced in producing various formats like op-eds, press releases, and columns.
You have a high attention to detail and are not afraid to do what it takes to get the job done.
Is a team player who takes initiative.
Has a keen interest in current affairs and a natural curiosity about politics, society, and popular culture.

You are a driven individual with strong self-management skills, meaning you take ownership of your own planning and ensure that work is completed on schedule. Since most of our colleagues are based in Stockholm, having a strong internal drive and excellent organizational skills is essential for this role. You are responsible and interested in the world around you. Curiosity is one of your strengths, and you handle stress well, remaining calm in high-pressure situations. Practical Information
Contract: 10-month project employment starting August 2025, with a possibility of extension.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Location: Obeya’s Copenhagen office, with great remote work options and the possibility to work from the Stockholm office.
