Obeya Seeks Account Manager & PR Strategist

About the role:

As an Account Manager & PR Strategist at Obeya, you will be a key, business-driving member of our team. Your mission is to develop client assignments and relationships, grow existing accounts and create new business opportunities for the agency. You will do this by:

  • Building long-term relationships with both existing and new clients

  • Identifying needs and selling the agency’s services and solutions that create clear business value

  • Leading proposal and pitch work together with the teams, from need → idea → proposal → closure

  • Ensuring profitability and high quality of delivery, and driving growth with both existing and new clients

  • Acting as a trusted strategic advisor within PR and communications

  • Contributing ideas and insights that help develop clients’ businesses and positioning

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least five years of experience in PR and communications

  • Has preferably worked in a similar Account Manager or Strategist role, ideally within an agency or consulting environment

  • Is skilled at building trust, long-term relationships and strong networks

  • Has proven experience in driving business, such as selling ideas, services or projects, developing existing clients or winning new business

  • Thrives in an advisory role and can translate knowledge into tangible business value for clients

  • Is curious, socially aware and keeps up to date with trends and the world around them

  • Is a team player who takes initiative and responsibility from start to finish

We place great importance on personal qualities. However, this role requires you to be self-driven, confident in your expertise and comfortable taking overall responsibility for client relationships and assignments.

Practical information:

  • Permanent position with a six-month probationary period

  • Full-time position, 37.5-hour working week
