Obeya nominated for Guldägget 2021
Obeya has been nominated for Guldägget (The Golden Egg)! This year, we are competing in the Short Films category with the campaign <3 Regn (Love Rain) for Halebop.
Guldägget is Sweden's largest communication competition and the most prestigious award in the Swedish advertising industry. On Thursday, March 25, the 2021 nominations were announced across 16 categories. It was revealed that Obeya, together with the advertising agency Perfect Fools, has been nominated for the campaign <3 Regn in the Short Films category.
The campaign was created last year for the mobile operator Halebop, where Halebop offered its customers free data every time it rained during the summer. The face of the campaign was singer Daniela Rathana, whose cover of Orup's classic Regn hos mig (Rain at my place) was featured in commercials aired on TV and digital platforms.
– This is our first time being nominated for Guldägget, and I couldn't imagine a better debut than with Halebop's rain campaign. It was a truly poignant project that received a lot of attention, much thanks to Daniela Rathana's fantastic musical interpretation. We are very proud of Halebop for daring to think fresh, and we are very proud of Obeya, which continues to make its mark in major communication competitions in 2021, says Obeya's CEO Maria Hazard.
