(WTF – Welcome to Finland)

So close to home – yet like another planet. In this campaign for Visit Finland, Obeya asked photographer and artist Senay Berhe to explore Finland as a destination through several trips over the past year. The experiences resulted in a series of works that capture a suggestive feeling of the unknown.

WTF usually means something else. And that’s exactly the feeling the artist carried with him during his travels to Helsinki, Turku, and Åland. Senay Berhe has moved between different creative expressions for the past 20 years and has been awarded multiple times. In recent years, art has taken an increasingly bigger place in his work. The exhibition is a co-production between the artist and Visit Finland.

Result: The exhibition was installed at Crum Heaven in Stockholm. Alongside an event with specially invited guests, we also hosted a press breakfast where the artist presented his works and his thoughts together with Visit Finland.
