Obeya recruits from SAMI and Riksteatern

Obeya recruits PR strategists Annika Miscevic and Joakim Johansson, strengthening the agency with two senior consultants in PR and Public Affairs.

Annika Miscevic has extensive agency experience and joins us most recently from SAMI (the Swedish Artists' and Musicians' Interest Organization), where she served as Head of Communications. Previously, Annika held both elected and official positions within the Moderate Party.

– I had just barely started my own consultancy when an offer from Obeya appeared that was simply too exciting and interesting to turn down. Having worked together before, I know how smart and talented they are, says Annika Miscevic.

Joakim Johansson joins from Riksteatern (The Swedish National Touring Theatre), where he spent three years as PR and Press Manager. Before his time at Riksteatern, Joakim worked for several years on the agency side.

– Obeya is an agency that is truly "here and now." They are at the forefront of how the industry should approach inclusive communication and norm-criticism. It feels fantastic to return to the agency world and be part of the exciting journey Obeya is on, says Joakim Johansson.

– I look forward to working with Annika and Joakim again. Their combined experience allows us to further scale up our strategic advisory services, says Maria Hazard, CEO of Obeya, in a statement.
