Halebop celebrates rain with a new version of Orup's "Regn hos mig"
In this year's summer campaign, Halebop breathes new life into Orup's 31-year-old summer hit Regn hos mig. The song and music video are part of the summer offer "Rain Data" (regnsurf), where customers receive extra data whenever it rains at their location.
The new version of Regn hos mig was recorded at Oskar Linnros' record label Dundra and was released on June 23rd on YouTube, accompanied by a commercial and a full-length video. The vocals are performed by Daniela Rathana, who has a background as a backing singer for some of Sweden's biggest artists and released her debut solo EP Halva vägen fri earlier this year.
Throughout the summer, Halebop is offering its customers extra data every time it rains where they are. The data is distributed via the Halebop app "Mitt Halebop." This summer track is another step in giving customers a great summer experience, despite the current challenging times.
– The "Rain Data" offer was developed long before COVID-19 hit and before we knew what the summer would look like, but in light of the pandemic, it is more relevant than ever. Many people will be staying in Sweden this summer, and I hope everyone can enjoy their holidays, regardless of the weather, says Johanna Sahlman, Head of Halebop.
Obeya developed the campaign together with the advertising agency Perfect Fools.
