Dump an ex for an ex in Halebop's latest campaign

Only three percent of Swedes have traded in their old mobile phone in the last 12 months, even though there are approximately two million phones lying in drawers at home. To encourage people to buy and sell second-hand, we have developed a new campaign together with our friends at Halebop: dump your phone, snag an ex.

Keeping an unused mobile phone in a drawer is unfair to both the environment and your wallet. Despite this, only just over three percent of all Swedes have handed in their used mobiles to companies. To increase awareness of the benefits of selling and buying used phones, Halebop is offering generous deals to those who trade in their old phone for a new one.

– Summer is just around the corner, and many are looking for something new and exciting. My best advice is therefore: dump your ex and snag someone else's! Your mobile, that is. We have plenty of "new-old" mobiles to offer, and by trading in your own, you can snag someone else's at a great price. Or, of course, you can let your mobile gather dust in a drawer, but that’s not an investment strategy I recommend, says Johanna Sahlman, Head of Halebop.

The campaign was developed by us at Obeya in collaboration with Halebop, with films produced by Slutet är nära and directed by Jesper Ei Karlsson.
