Call to action for a safer festival summer

The festival season is here, but many people do not feel safe at festival grounds.

Nattskiftet, a non-profit organization we work with, has launched the petition Trygghetslistan (The Safety List), with artist Silvana Imam as its ambassador. The core of the initiative is a collection of signatures and tips, where festival-goers themselves can contribute to developing the festivals of the future and urge festival and concert organizers to take greater responsibility by increasing safety for their visitors.

At trygghetslistan.nu, you can now sign the petition to ensure that organizers listen to visitors' wishes, experiences, and advice regarding safety. The site also offers the chance to share ideas on what makes a festival feel secure. The list of names and safety tips will be handed over to key stakeholders in the entertainment industry. The goal is for these actors to both demonstrate and implement concrete safety measures to enhance security at concerts and festivals. The campaign has already gained nationwide publicity, with Nattskiftet and Silvana appearing on morning shows and Aktuellt, collecting over 1,000 signatures and tips.
